Childlike Faith

Sometimes, it is hard to keep going. One minute, your faith is sky-high, and out of nowhere, it plummets. We want to see instant gratification and realistically, it may not be like that. Sometimes, we simply have to wait. We have to get comfortable with the idea of patience and the fact that, in this instant-gratification society, sometimes we must wait.
As I continue to walk with God, I realize that my wait is imperative. When I begin to go ahead of God, it feels like everything is off and wrong. It makes me uncomfortable. It feels like touching a hot stove, knowing that it can burn me, and leave lasting scars and damage.
I encourage you to keep the faith and wait on God. Let Him establish you and magnify His glory in your life. Be like a child... when a parent tells them something, they wait with expectation because they know their history with their parent and that they always come through. How much more does your Heavenly Father care about you? He does not lie. He said He will show up right on time. Trust the nature and the character of God. He always comes through on time. Be like the child that sits and eagerly waits for the appointed time.
